The Art of Patience and Forgiveness

Patience is important in solving issues
In life there are many roads to choose, many are less travelled than others and not all are as virtuous as first believed. Individuals are often led astray into temptation and lose their way, but it’s important to note we all come from the same source, the same creator, thus it’s essential to practice patience and forgiveness.
People all over the world from various cultures and backgrounds make choices every moment of the day on how to live life, some out of necessity, others out of love and still others via the ego mind. What may be acceptable, exciting and interesting to one individual may be considered distasteful or very negative to another; it really depends on the point of view and perspective from each person. No matter what the opinion on how to live, two of the greatest assets in life are the art of patience and forgiveness to navigate through life peacefully.
People learn from mistakes, it’s simply the way the world works; however too many folks are very quick to judge without knowing all the facts. Everyone has had life lessons and many
have been affected negatively because of it, but how many times has one wished they did not say something after they have spoken to soon? This happens too often in the competitive world because of the stress involved in day to day life, and often the results are less than desirable.

Patience is important because it often leads to a better alternative no matter how serious the circumstances may appear to be. For example, email communication requires a patient approach because one often says what they either do not necessarily mean, or would not say in person, after sending out the communiqué. Whatever the circumstance presented it is best to approach it patiently and to finish listening to and/or reading the information and gathering all the facts before deciding on an appropriate response. At the very least count to ten
slowly, and if one is still hot under the collar go for a walk and cool down before replying. |

Quick judgement can be particularly damaging in any situation, one must remember they never walked in the other person’s shoes; because what may have been done by them wouldn’t necessarily have been done differently by you! Life through their eyes comes with a complete set of unique circumstances which they have experienced, so rushing harshly to a verdict is counter intuitive. Life is different for everyone, and a tunnel vision view without knowing the background and facts in each situation is self-serving and bias; prejudice is an ego trip which humanity can do without.
Once patience has been exercised forgiveness must be utilized, and it must be done with intent. Forgiving someone publicly and having ulterior selfish motives are not in alignment with compassion and is comparable to selfish desires and reprisal. Retaliation is of a lower vibration because it is a lower emotional attribute, wait until all the details are known before coming to a decision. The last thing this world needs is to fall into a vengeful dogmatic stance; it’s what got the world into the current mess in the first place.

Forgiveness is one of the most powerful acts humanity has in their possession. The benefits are immense and feel akin to having a large weight released from one’s shoulders. By exercising true forgiveness stress is released from the physical and mental body, thus freeing one to be more vibrant; resulting in less energy focused on hate and resentment and more liveliness on positive and productive thoughts and deeds.
The spiritual side also has a stake in this process; blockages in the etheric body quickly resolve themselves by practicing forgiveness, and result in a better more improved connection to the higher self. This enables a far more pleasant and creative mind set since not wasting energy on lower emotions, such as; worrying and depression will result in an increased focus on something which will truly bring good results and peace of mind. |

Something like this may take days, weeks, months or even years, but whatever the circumstance being patient is important, however once the dust settles forgiveness is absolutely crucial for the healing of any situation.
